The“Pearl Group”from Zhuji Zhejiang,exhibited in Hong Kong to continue writing the “Spring Story”
From February 27, the 10th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show and the 40th Hong Kong International Jewelry Show were held in succession, which attracted more than 4,000 exhibitors from over 40 countries and regions. During the “Two Fairs”, Zhuji Zhejiang — “the world’s largest freshwater pearl production and marketing center” — dress to attend. It has contracted freshwater pearls over 70 percent in the global market and 90 percent in the Hong Kong market respectively.
In the AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 1, the “C position” exhibitors are the “Pearl Group” from Zhuji, consisting of old friends such as Zhejiang Qianzu Pearl Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Oriental Shenzhou Pearl Group Co.Ltd. as well as new ones, for example, Zhuji Yuqi Jewelry Co., Ltd. and Zhuji Minglun Jewelry Co., Ltd. making their debut at the fair. There are 51 exhibiting companies, 63 booths, a 567-square-meter exhibition area, and more than 300 purchasing companies with a total of over 800 people... This year, the top-quality jewelry from Zhuji is a feast for the eyes.
Although those two cities are two thousand miles apart, they are connected heart to heart. Plus, what is also commendable is the city's vitality and innovation. Over the past few years, Zhuji has actively promoted the interconnection of innovative resources with Hong Kong to boost the development of its industries. During the delegation's visit in March 2023, an investment promotion meeting and a cultural tourism promotion meeting were held simultaneously, achieving a situation of mutual benefit and fruitful results for the two cities.
In 2024, Zhuji proposed to co-ordinate the "bringing in" and "going global" two articles, by expanding the advantages of modern industrial clusters, setting off a strong investment boom as well as building a strong platform to create the main position of innovation. Moreover, it also continues to foster the "Eight-Eight Strategy" to go deeper and more concrete, strives to be at the forefront of the new journey of the Chinese path to modernization, and demonstrates the beautiful style of the birthplace of the "Fengqiao Experience" at a high level.Aiming with new goals, Zhuji went to Hong Kong again: firstly, on February 27, they visited the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers Association (HKJMA) to discuss cooperation, participated in the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) exchanges forum, and visited the China Industrial Securities International Financial Group Limited (CISI) to negotiate investment and financing collaboration; Secondly, they held Zhuji Investment and Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference (Tea Meeting) on February 28; Thirdly, on February 29, they not only visited the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) to promote the implementation of the project, made connections on accelerating the implementation of the development and application industrialization projects of Lejing Technology’s high-end electronic slurry, but also made a visit to Memorigin Watch and in talks with China State Construction International Holdings Limited (CSCI) about a partnership…
