Envoys from Central and Eastern Europe Experience the Ancient Charm of Jinan's Springs

On the afternoon of April 18th, a delegation of eight ambassadors, including those from Albania, North Macedonia, and Slovakia, visited Jinan to explore the renowned Scenic Spots of the World‘s Best Spring, immersing themselves in the beauty of spring and experiencing the cultural essence of Jinan. The clear gushing springs, the intertwining of algae in the ponds, the birds leisurely resting by the lakeside, and the profound historical heritage left a profound and delightful impression on the diplomats.

The envoys embarked on an immersive journey through the picturesque scenery of "mountains, springs, lakes, rivers, and the city," witnessing the collective efforts of Jinan's citizens to cherish and conserve the springs while promoting water conservation. They praised Jinan's ecological governance initiatives and efforts to build a green homeland. Before departing, the envoys commended Jinan for leveraging its spring resources and preserving its traditional charm, expressing their intention to encourage friendly exchanges between their cities and Jinan.
